I've worked out two new styles of pens that I can offer. I've sourced the parts I need for Calligraphy pens, and they are a blast to make!  I also have found the best rollerball style pen I've seen yet.  The "Baron" style is a nice weight, comfortable size, and best of all looks amazing. I've been using my new pen at work, and it's gotten lots of compliments already.  I'll be working on a page soon to display all the style I have available.  Also, I figured out how to make a "Teachers Pen", a double ended pen with black and red inks for grading papers.  You can see examples of these in the Gallery.

Just supplied a big order for the graduation gifts for Princeton's Environmental Studies Program. Did a rush order of six various styles with recycled woods, and six cigar style pens in bamboo.

Our son, Hiro, was born on 12/19/07 at 11:24 AM.  He's a fine young healthy boy, with good lungs and a lot of hair.  He's going to cut into my shop time for a bit, but that's ok.

I've moved the site to a new host!  I took advantage of Dream Host's super sale, and will be moving all my domains there as I get a chance to convert them. This will be the first.

I delivered a stand and a selection of pens in Bamboo to the VP of the Bamboo Hardwoods stores.  I have five styles available, Slim Pen, Slim Pencil, Executive, Dome Top, and the new Tech/PDA pen. All in straight grained blonde bamboo.  For now, the pens will available in the Downtown showroom on 9th Ave near Pike St.

I've spent the last few days tweaking the Content Management System, and getting ready for my big order with Bamboo Hardwoods.  The CMS I use is pretty powerful, but it is a bit tricky to use at times, but so far I've been able to get what I needed out of it.  I chose to use this instead of a hand coding it myself (which I could have done) because I wanted to make it easy as possible to keep my site up to date.

On the Bamboo Hardwoods order, I've been sketching out ideas for the display, and gathering my shopping list up so I can get all parts together.  It's going to be a big order, but that's fine, I need to build stock up for future orders.

A great thing happened at my meeting with the VP of Bamboo Hardwoods today!

I have a handshake agreement to start selling some of my work at the new store downtown!  I will starting with slim pen pencil sets, euro style, and cigar pen style in blonde bamboo, and working up from there.

I've started work on customizing the basic templates that came with the default install.

This is the first news item on the new site!  The site was created, not much to see here, but it's growing.  The site is being built in a new content management system called CMS Made Simple.  So far it's been a joy to work with, and I really like it.
